What are Rotary Endodontics?

Rotary endodontics involves an electrically powered wand which performs the root canal treatment and replaces the traditional stainless-steel manual files with titanium. Titanium is a material that is five times more flexible than stainless steel. Rotary Endodontics makes the root canal process faster and more efficient because of the flexibility and movement of the titanium. Rotary Endodontics can be inserted deeply into a curved root canal without stretching or damaging the passageway.

Root Canal Therapy

Root Canals consist of the removal of the infected pulp of the teeth. After the infected pulp is removed, the root canal is cleaned, sealed, and covered by a dental crown. Root Canals have been performed by dentists for many years, but more recently an advanced method of performing root canals was created. This new process is called rotary endodontics.
